The Cold War: Global Perspectives on East-West Tensions, 1945-1991

The Library is now providing access to the Readex resource The Cold War: Global Perspectives on East-West Tensions 1945-1991.

Though the Cold War ended in 1991, many of its key issues – weapons of mass destruction, espionage, proxy wars and their aftereffects – continue to echo in international events and popular culture in the 21st century. This database gives researchers the unique opportunity to explore some of the same primary sources used by the U.S. officials in responding to foreign adversaries.
