The Cold War: Global Perspectives on East-West Tensions, 1945-1991
The content comes from the CIA's Foreign Broadcast Information Service (FBIS) which selected, transcribed and translated foreign-language broadcast and print news items as part of its intelligence gathering operations. FBIS analysts curated sources from around the world, with a particular focus on the news outlets located in the Soviet Union, Eastern Europe, China, North Korea, Vietnam and other hotspots.
The content that we are trially is a subset of the full FBIS service, with a focus on the Cold War.
