World Environment Day - June 5th

World Environment Day (WED) is celebrated every year on JUNE 5 to raise global awareness to take positive environmental action to protect nature and the planet Earth. It is run by the United Nations Environment Programme(UNEP).
The theme for 2016 is "fight against the illegal trade in wildlife”.Angola is the host country of this year.
In light of this, the Library would like to draw your attention to some of our excellent electronic resources, such as EBSCO's GreenFILE and the Environment Agency database.  In addition, we also provide links to the Friends of the Earth International database as well as a wealth of environmental data in such resources as ScienceDirect.

Don't forget to check SOLAR for all your Library needs.
