Political Cartoons and freedom of the press

Following the terrible events in Paris yesterday, here are two resources allowing you to search for and use political and satiritcal cartoons

The British Cartoon Archive, at the University of Kent, collects, preserves, catalogues, exhibis, and distributes the work of cartoonists and caricaturists from the UK.  Many of these, including the Carl Giles Archive, can be searched online.

Cartoon Stock incluces cartoons from over 1,000 artists.  You can search the database, and there is the option to licence the content for use directly on the site.
