We are aware of a fault affecting PCs in the University's PC suites that makes opening PDF files, such as e-Books and journal articles, difficult.
You may see the following message when you try to open a file : "Before proceeding you must first launch Adobe Acrobat and accept the End User License Agreement"
Please be assured that ITS are aware of this, and are currently rolling out a solution that will stop this from happening, and allow PDFs to be opened normally.
In the meantime, if you do see this, you can open Adobe Acrobat X Pro manually (go via the Start menu to find this) and then click on the link to the PDF again and it will open.
We apologise for this inconvenience of this, and hope that it will be resolved shortly.
